Domain Names - available on all our sites

$140.00 .com.au, .net.au domain for two years. $68.30 .com, .net, .biz, .info, .org, .us domain for one year or $138.60 for two years.

We provide all our sites with phone technical support between 11am and 7pm or alternatively via email at any time. You can also check our FAQ page to help with your enquiries. The staff at Constitution Computing are fully qualified web developers and also have extensive experience running web logs.

Website administration

Website administration can be accessed on your site by adding /admin/ to the end of your domain name (for example http://www.mysite.com.au/admin/) in the address field of your web browser and then pressing enter. This will cause a dialogue box to come up on your screen requesting a user name and password simply enter your details and click ok. This will take you to Jade Server Management, which will allow you to add and edit email addresses, manage users, change passwords and turn email forwarding on or off. From this page you can also access the website traffic report which will tell you everything you need to know about visitors to your site. This will tell you the number of hits to your site, the sites they came from and even what search terms they used to find your site.

Domain Names

Constitution Computing can provide your website or blog with its own Domain Name. A Domain Name is www.mydomainname.com.au this gives your site or blog its on individual name and makes it easier to find. Purchasing a Domain Name may also give you an email address that you will never forget by registering your own name. For example, me@jobloggs.com . A Domain Name is easy to register you can either do it yourself or ask Constitution Computing to register one for you.

PHP Scripting Language

A scripting Language allows you to create dynamic sites that can interact with databases or data sent by user forms. PHP allows you to put forums on your website and utilise many software packages not available on your ordinary website.

MySQL database

A database allows you to store large amount information that can be displayed to your website using a scripting language such as PHP. For example, if you had 100 addresses and wished to display them on 100 different pages you could use one scripted page accessing a database or create 100 normal html pages. Using a scripting language and a database is obviously the easier choice. Many software packages such as Wordpress or a forum programme requires a database and a scripting language. Most hosting companies only provide a database at an extra fee but Constitution Computing provides all our websites with a database.
